I made the dress from scrap fabrics, attached the ribbon to it, and secured
them with cardboard. We can use it to play ribbon activity with young children. It’s perfect for all the
fun things they love to do.
Learning to tie the ribbon is a tricky fine motor skill for
children, but with patience and practice we can teach them to tie their own
ribbon.
The area I am developing through this activity is to encouraging
children to use their small muscles of the hands, fingers and wrist. It also
helps them to develop hand-eye coordination and attention. This game will teach
them responsibility and to support their self-dressing skills.
