Fine Motor Activity Mat

Fine motor skills are the coordination of small muscle movements – usually involving small, precise thumb, finger, hand, and wrist movements.

I made the mat using buttons, zippers, and Velcro, sewn into fabric – to allows children to play with small objects, encourages creativity, and improves hand-eye coordination.

Learning Outcome:

4.1 – Children develop dispositions such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination, and reflexivity.
